About:

(wiki) The first published and best known book of the series The Chronicles of Narnia, Lewis’s The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is a seemingly timeless classic children’s fantasy.

Set during World War II, the Pevensie children (Peter, Susan, Edmund, & Lucy) are sent to live under the care of the Old Professor, who lived in a large and strange old house in the English countryside. While exploring the house Lucy, the youngest, investigates an old wardrobe only to discover the wonderous world of Narnia.

Despite their initial disbelief of Lucy’s story of Narnia and it’s inhabitants, all the Pevensie children later stumble into Narnia through the same wardrobe. They, of course, decide to explore. Lucy leads them to meet her friend Tumnus the faun, only to discover his arrest by the White Witch. The self-proclaimed Queen of Narnia that Tumnus had warned her of.

The Pevensie’s continue on, hoping to discover the full truth of what happened. Coming across some surprising help they are told of the Lion, Aslan, the true King and Lord of Narnia. But the Pevensies are not all in agreement of the path forward. Upon one siblings disappearance, the rest travel with urgency to find Aslan, the one they know can free Narnia and their wayward sibling.
